Our mission at New Gen is to bend the internet to you. We envision a future where interfaces are personalized and powered by LLMs. We believe all websites and interfaces will eventually incorporate an intelligence layer, and New Gen aims to provide that layer, making the internet dynamic and adaptive to users.

We’re building a small team of exceptional engineers that are excited about building the future of websites and internet commerce. We’re looking for a data engineer that can collaborate closely with product engineering, and who can iterate and experiment quickly to unlock great product experiences for users.

You’re a great fit if you

• Have experience building 0 to 1 products that balance moving fast with scalable implementations, either as an ex-founder or at an early stage startup
• Get excited about data intensive applications, search, and real time data flows
• Care deeply about building high quality user experiences and are excited about the practical challenges of implementing AI data pipelines and products
• Want to join a high growth, fast paced team and are based in San Francisco (or willing to occasionally hop on a plane if not in SF)
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, exception communication skills, and a bias toward action
